VIAL Continue to Drop Grunge-Infused Anthems in Anticipation of 'burnout'

Get ready to embrace the gritty allure of VIAL as they drop the final single, "apathy," off their highly anticipated third album, 'burnout,' slated for release on March 29 via Get Better Records. In the spirit of over-the-top announcements, the Minneapolis power trio is set to embark on a headlining North American tour, turning the anticipation meter up a notch.

"apathy" takes a detour from the sugar-high vibe of previous singles, delivering a darker, grungier essence reminiscent of Sleater-Kinney at their heaviest. The animated video, crafted by Claire Minnihan, Amaya Peña, and Forrest Hormann, adds an extra layer of visual intensity to this sonic journey.

The North American tour kicks off on April 12 at Milwaukee's Cactus Club and includes stops in Chicago, Nashville, Brooklyn, and more. Brace yourselves for an electrifying experience with supporting acts Sunday Cruise, Boy Jr, and Rain On Fridays, varying by date.

VIAL's upcoming album, 'burnout,' promises a surge of alt-rock energy, blending big riffs with even bigger hooks. With singles like "just fine," "ur dad," and "falling short" already paving the way, "apathy" emerges as a standout track, defying categorization with its '90s major-label single vibes – a power-pop-grunge hybrid that leaves you craving more.

Vocalist Taz Johnson elaborates on the album's theme, stating, "‘burnout’ as the title for our third record is meant to be an escape to a different world. It’s a nostalgic longing for a place that doesn't really exist, but you wish you were there."

So, mark your calendars and get ready for VIAL's sonic onslaught. 'burnout' is poised to be a sonic journey, and the tour promises an unmissable live experience. Secure your tickets, dive into the animated realm of "apathy," and join VIAL as they redefine the punk rock narrative.
