Tony Slug's Last Note: A Rock 'n' Roll Tribute

Tony Slug was the OG rock'n'roll Dutch maestro, tearing up stages since '78 with his riff-fueled punk. BGK, Loveslug, The Nitwitz, and The Hydromatics—this legend made it count with every note. But here's the kicker: just as the tape wrapped on his most recent, guest packed endeavor, Tony left the stage at 60, battling cancer.

But that isn't the end, oh no! This swan song became a bangin' tribute as the star-studded lineup of 30+ pals, from Jello Biafra to Jennifer Finch, teamed up to complete Tony's final hurrah. Over two years, tracks were laid down in Europe and the US, mostly in Amsterdam by producer Steven van der Werff.

12 fresh tracks pour from this legacy—Tony's five-decade rock'n'roll odyssey in a nutshell! The album's a journey—his bio penned by Dutch wordsmith Philippus Zandstra. Hold on tight! The album's droppin' alongside a documentary by Lotte Louise de Jong.

March 2024's the date! Suburban Records, Alternative Tentacles, and Wap Shoo Wap Records bring you the Tony Slug Experience.
