Welcome to the future! Massachusetts punk stalwarts, Restraining Order, have their sights set on the horizon with an electrifying announcement: their sophomore album, "Locked In Time," is geared up for a July 21st blast-off via the powerhouse label Triple B Records.

Known for their 2019 gem "This World Is Too Much," the band's latest offering promises to encapsulate the hardcore essence while introducing a contemporary edge.

Kicking things off is the single "Misled," a hardcore-thriller packed with melodies that'll leave you pondering the labyrinth of self-understanding. The accompanying video, directed by Ben Clinton, captures the band's raw, high-octane performance, providing a front-row seat to their sonic assault.

Behind the scenes, the making of "Locked In Time" was a saga—a journey spanning from the fall of 2019 to late 2022. Drummer extraordinaire, Will Hirst, took the reins in recording and production, paving the way for a diverse sonic landscape. Hardcore at its core, the album flirts with garage, psychedelia, and classic rock influences, boasting melodies alongside the frenetic pace, demonstrating the band's exploration of ambitious song structures.

But hold onto your pit boots because Restraining Order isn't just releasing an album—they're living on the road! Brace yourself for a summer packed with live fervor as they join forces with Drain, Drug Church, Magnitude, and Gel, setting ablaze stages across the Southeast and Texas. Then, it's an overseas jaunt for the Triple B Takeover tour, gracing festivals like the UK's Outbreak and the Netherlands' Jera On Air.

But that's not all, folks! After a brief breather, they'll storm back with gusto, hitting The Rumble in Chicago, Sound and Fury in Los Angeles, and teaming up with Mindforce, Simulakra, and Scarab for an August rampage. And fall? Oh, it's stacked! Picture a Brooklyn showdown with Gorilla Biscuits, a Fest spectacle in Florida, and a Flyover Fest blast in Oklahoma—with more electrifying announcements lurking in the wings.

Restraining Order doesn't just make music; they live and breathe the hardcore ethos, embodying a perpetual adrenaline rush that propels them from one stage to the next. So, buckle up, fellow punk enthusiasts! "Locked In Time" is set to redefine hardcore evolution, and Restraining Order is here to soundtrack your whirlwind tour through the vibrant world of punk rock!
